Dr. Tapasya Srivastava is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Genetics at the University of Delhi South Campus. She holds a Ph.D. from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and an MSc in Biochemistry from Hamdard University. Dr. Srivastava’s research focuses on various areas within cancer biology, including the biology of cancer cells in hypoxic tumor microenvironments, cancer genetics and risk markers, cancer therapeutics, and DNA methylation and epigenetic regulation in cancer cells.

Dr. Srivastava has extensive experience in subjects such as regulation of gene expression and epigenetic regulation in various model organisms, cell biology, biochemistry, immunology, cancer biology and genetics, molecular biology (including replication, repair, and recombination), and research methodology. Her expertise is recognized through her election as a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences.

She has been honored for her contributions to science with the SERB Women’s Excellence in Science Research Award in 2013 and the INSA Young Scientist Medal Award in Medical Sciences in 2010. Dr. Srivastava has published extensively in refereed and peer-reviewed journals, contributing significantly to the field of medical sciences.

Dr. Sunil Gulia is a Senior Scientist at the CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) Delhi Zonal Centre. He holds a Ph.D. from IIT Delhi, specializing in Air Pollution. With over 15 years of experience in air quality management, Dr. Gulia has made significant contributions while working at esteemed academic and research institutions such as IIT Delhi, the Central Road Research Institute (CRRI), and NEERI.

Dr. Gulia has coordinated numerous major international and national projects focused on urban air quality management, the impact of agricultural stubble burning on air quality in Delhi NCR, airshed management approaches, indoor air quality, and industrial air pollution consultancy projects. He is proficient in using air pollution dispersion modeling software such as CALPUFF, AERMOD, ADMS-Urban, ISCST3, and CALINE-4.

Dr. Gulia has an impressive publication record, with over 35 research articles and book chapters in peer-reviewed journals. He has supervised the dissertation work of more than 25 master’s students and co-supervised one Ph.D. student. His specialized areas of expertise include air quality dispersion modeling, urban air quality management, vehicular pollution management, pollution emission inventory development, environmental impact assessment, and indoor air quality.

Mr. S. Suresh has extensive experience in managing industrial odours from various sectors, including GTL plants, refineries, chemical and pharmaceutical hazardous waste incineration plants, and pesticide manufacturing facilities. With a deep understanding of odour impact assessment and management plans, S. Suresh specializes in odour sampling, testing, and characterization in compliance with the European standard EN 13725. S. Suresh is well-versed in international odour standards and policies and has a strong background in sewage water treatment plants and P & M testing (odour profiling).

In addition to this, S. Suresh has over three years of research experience in Mixed Matrix Membranes, specifically ORMOCER/zeolites membranes. S. Suresh’s expertise extends to the synthesis and characterization of Heteropolyacids supported Transition Metal Oxides, including Titania, Zirconia, and Alumina, using techniques such as XRD, TPD & TPR, Pyridine adsorption and desorption methods, and FT-IR. Furthermore, S. Suresh is proficient in the synthesis and characterization of nano-Zeolites and surface-modified nano-Zeolites, utilizing methods such as SLS, DLS, SEM, FT-IR, and N2 adsorption and desorption.

Dr. Sunayana Sarkar is an assistant professor at NMIMS Mumbai specializing in Carbon Sequestration, Carbon capture, and Afforestation. She possesses extensive academic credentials with ongoing research projects funded by DST and the G20 scheme. Currently, Ms. Sarkar leads an afforestation initiative in the Eastern Himalayas with Balipara Foundation, leveraging GIS and AI for sustainable forest management. She also serves as principal investigator for a BMC Mumbai landslide project.
