Net zero carbon and decarbonization program is also equipped with professional certifications as detailed in Table 2. Providing leadership/management and executive program in net zero carbon objectives of inculcating the essential knowledge and skills for today’s job market, avenues for career growth and innovation, promoting sustainable business practices could be well planned.
The designed module will offer 45 hours of three credit based delivering frameworks outlined to fulfil objectives of developing a comprehensive understanding of net zero and decarbonisation concepts with contemporary global challenges.
Dr. C.S. Dubey, representing the NORMI Research Foundation, India, delivered a keynote address at the 36th Himalaya-Karakorum-Tibet Workshop held in Krakow, Poland. The research paper titled ‘The Himalayas in the Anthropocene: Interactions Between Tectonics, Climate, and Mighty Rivers’ was the focal point of the presentation. Dr. Dubey highlighted the critical connections between geological processes, climate dynamics, and the powerful river systems in the Himalayan region, India during the Anthropocene epoch.
The NORMI Research Foundation India, in collaboration with Dr. Jivraj Mehta Institute of Technology (DJMIT) in Anand, Gujarat, hosted the inaugural NZC Leadership Summit on May 18, 2024. The event, titled “Net Zero Carbon and Regulatory Alignment: Compliance with Competitiveness,” featured distinguished guests including Shri Devang Thakar (Member Secretary, GPCB), Dr. Girdhar Gyani (President, NORMI Research Foundation), Mr. Prasoon Gargva (Regional Director, CPCB), Shri Narendra Shrimali (Chairman, DJMIT), and Shri Sanjeev Kumar (Principal Secretary, Department of Environment and Forest, GoG).
The summit, held at the DJMIT Campus, attracted over 30 delegates from major industries, government departments, and public sector units. The opening session included addresses by Shri Sanjeev Kumar and Mr. Devang Thakar, who emphasized the necessity of sustainable practices and technological innovation to tackle environmental challenges.
A Seminar on the topic “Odour Measurement and Mitigation in Oil Sector” was organized in CHT, 9th floor in OIDB Bahwan, Sector 73, NOIDA in association with ODOUR NORMI on 18.04.2023. The proceedings of the half day seminar on various aspects of odour were deliberated by five speakers from NORMI Dr Manoranjan Hota, Dr R. A. Pandey, Prof Dr Ajay Deshpande, Dr J.S. Sharma and Sh. Surendra Yadav.
The session on odour measurement and mitigation and another session on Legal Implications evoked it of questions and all questions were addressed aptly to the satisfaction of the delegates.
The excellent presentation not only highlighted the key findings but also facilitated in-depth discussions that provided valuable insights and perspectives on the results.
